2018 Black History Month Playlist

It’s officially Black History Month! Although we celebrate our culture and impact all year round, it is the time of the year when America acknowledges the contributions and strides of African Americans. Where our melanin is poppin’, our curls and texture are flaunted, and our message is clear. Say it loud, I’m black and I’m proud, as James Brown would say. Anyone who’s been to a black social gathering knows the way we celebrate is by music and dance. With that in mind, here’s a playlist for Black History Month 2018, and to help you start off the weekend right!
