'Transformers' Sends Chicago Viewers on a Wild Ride

On a breezy afternoon, Chicago movie lovers rushed to the Lyric Opera of Chicago to get a sneak preview of Transformers: The Last Knight. In a packed theater, Chicago citizens were eager to the latest installment of the Transformers franchise.

Lyric Opera of Chicago went all out for the premiere, which holds a special significance, since some parts of the film were shot in Chicago, as well as scenes from previous Transformer movies. As guest filled in the seats, MTV was outside on a dock that was turned into a red carpet for the stars of the film. Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Hopkins, Laura Haddock, Jerrod Carmichael and other members of the cast talked to the MTV correspondents and as well the director Michael Bay. The entire cast came into the theater to introduce themselves and Wahlberg gave a special shoutout to Chicago.

Thanks to IMAX 3D, viewers got to experience the fifth installment of the film franchise in 3D. In this film, Mark Wahlberg and Laura Haddock team up to bring faith in humanity since humans and Transformers are at war with each other. In order to save the future of the planet, secrets from people's past and a hidden history must be revealed so the world doesn't come to an end.
