The Halftime show is the most anticipated part of the Super Bowl and Lady Gaga jumped at the chance...literally.
The pop icon and activist brought out all the stops to bring forth an amazing show and hidden message.
The pop diva started the show by singing "God Bless America", with the city lights and drones as her backdrop, and went into Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land”, a protest song that has recently been sung by protestors who are against Trump’s immigration bans. Then she jumped off the roof into a pyrotechnic stage, from tower to tower, and a glow stick filled crowd. Performing her hits such as "Born This Way", "Poker Face", "Just Dance" and "Telephone", Gaga rocked the crowd and didn't miss a beat when it came to the choreography.
Gaga went from upbeat, to slow tempo when she performed "Million Reason", from her latest album, Joanne. Playing the piano and hugging fans in the crowd, Gaga brought the emotional side of her fans. The singer would disappear for a quick costume changed for the finale. After Gaga performed her hit "Bad Romance", she strutted to the top of another stature, dropped the mic, and jumped into the audience.
With her entrance, her performance, the fireworks, and the set designed, the audience went wild. Social media users since the show has praised Gaga for vocal ability and energy and Gaga later announced her Joanne Tour on Facebook. You can relive the performance here, but before you watch again, who do you think should perform next year?
